Fun Fishing,Clinics, Banquet and Raffle
Saturday October 10th,2009

The gate at the trophy waters opens at 8:15am. Arrive at a time that best fits your travel schedule. Veterans and paying fisherman will be assigned a beat upon arrival.

From spruce Pine take Hwy 226 North to Bakersville.In Bakersville takeHwy261 North toward Roan Mtn., cross the first bridge and turn left onto Fort Mountain Rd,drive approximately 2 miles and turn left onto Rockdale Road. The Tropy Waters are at the end of Rockdale Road where pavement turns into a gravel road. If you have problems finding the destination contact Rivers Edge Outfitters at (828)765-3474.
AGENDA

8:30am - 5:00pm open fishing for registered Veterans and non-vets who pay the $175 rod fee.

10:00am - 3:00pm casting clinics, reading the water, fly tying, and others

12:00pm-1:30pm Lunch
1:30-5:00pm- Fishing continues
5:00pm conclude on water events,hotel check in for vets.

From Spruce Pine Take Hwy 226 South about 1.5 miles. Look for the Pine Vally Motel Continueon about 100 yards to the Mc Donalds. The church is in the Shopping Center right behind the McDonalds


6:00 pm Doors open for Banquet at Abundant Life Church
6:00- raffle ticket sales and bid on silent auction items
6:30 Brief welcome, blessing of the food, start buffet dinner
7:00 opening comments,welcome, PHW history presentation
7:30 Meet the vets who are competing in the Sunday tournament,slide show of vets flyfishing that day
8:00 thank you to the volunteers and sponsors,ticket sales and auction
8:30-9:15 conclude silent auction,announce raffle winners,closing
